Meanwhile Shade helped himself with a few appetizers aswell. Once he finished, he sneaked a few more wine bottles inside his bag and kept an eye out fo any more valuebles. As the party went on, Shade was asking himself how long they would have to be here. He was about to ask Brela that question until he heard a familiar laughter amongst the crowd.
On the other side of the room, the laughter came from an orc that was also helping himself to wine and smoking out of his pipe. He turned his head to his succubi and gave her a drink from his cup. He then raised his cup. "Here's to the Horde!" the orc cheered. "To all the Orcs, Tauren, Trolls, Forsaken, and Sin'dorei for their support in out fight against the Lich King and keeping ahead of the Alliance.."
Shade thought he recognized that voice. He stood up and walked up behind the orc and pressed a dagger against his back. "Drop the cup and hand me your valuebles" Shade said. The Orc was suprised as he turned around to break this guy's arm, but once he had a good look at who was aiming the dagger.
"Shade! Shade Voc'zaco? Haha, What the heck brings you here?" The orc laughed as he gave a hug of greetings.
"I should be asking you that, Grulnor Bloodeye," Shade replied as he reutrned the hug and took a seat. At least he was more comfortable hanging out with more people he knew.
"Thats Gulnor 'The Great' Bloodeye" Grulnor boasted. Apparently it looked as if he was here partying for a while. "Well, Thrall wanted to have an update on the reports of the eastern kingdoms, and I was assigned that mission. I was actually in Silvermoon in no more than two days ago, and it seemes that your prince hasn't been very popular as of lately."
Shade grabbed a spare cup that was on the table and filled it with bloodthistle for a drink. "Kael'Thas... I wouldn't say he was popular to begin with. It was only a matter of time before his choice on demonic magic would become a downfall."
"So you just couldn't stay away then hmm?" Grulnor asked. "You had to go back and look for your so called, 'Sunwell ring?'"
Shade thought that it was too soon to tell him about the ring, especially when there is a big crowd. Shade took a few sips from the bloodthistle. "Actually, there was an all calling for the High Elves and Blood Elves at Silvermoon, and it caught my interest what was going on. At first everything seemed alright, there was even rumor about the Sunwell being restored. But then one of the Blood Knights revealed baskets of fel crystals and announced that it was time the High elves 'become the childern of the blood' One refusal of a high elf was all it took to start a riot, for within seconds, the blood knight killed him. So as the riot went on, nobody was watching over the fel crystals-"
"And I know you," Grulnor inturupted, still pretty intoxicated. "You just couldn't leave them alone, could you?"
Shade laugehd. By then he was starting to loosen up. He felt that he had nothing to hide since everyone here was having too much of a good time to listen to an orc and a Blood Elf in a conversation. "Well, I knew the only use thoes fel crystals were going to be are to change the High Elves into Blood Elves. I just thought there could be a better use for them. So once I'm out of the palace, I was home free until Brela and I ran into each other." Shade realized that Grulnor didn't even know who Brela was. Trying to look for him, Shade was able to catch Brela's eye and pointed at the table as indication that there was room for a seat.
